Hidden House Histories
Sat 18 October- Saturday 3rd January open 11am to 5pm
People carrying out work on old buildings have often found objects that have been deliberately concealed. The objects found are usually clothes and shoes and are in poor condition, worn out and tattered. But they were deliberately hidden, not disposed of. Why was this done? The exhibition explores why these items may have been concealed.
